Gourmet Salt Flakes - Maldon Salt Company 570g - BBQ Okra

BBQ Okra (serves 1)

  • Okra 150g
  • All-Purpose Seasoning (see below)
  • Olive oil 1tbsp

All-Purpose Seasoning

  • 2 parts black pepper
  • 1 part thyme, rosemary, crushed fennel seeds, chili flakes (optional)
  • ½ part garlic powder, onion powder
  1. Mix ingredients for All-Purpose Seasoning together.
  2. Add okra to a bowl and toss to coat with the olive oil and All-Purpose Seasoning.
  3. Using a barbecue, or large pan on a high heat, cook the okra — tossing/turning frequently for 5 minutes approx. until soft and slightly charred.
  4. Serve as a starter or a side with dips.
